Mask research

Japanese Surgical Mask culture.

After looking at a range of different masks i decided to research into The frenzy of mask wearing that is happening in Japan. Having never been to Japan myself i can’t imagine how it would look to see a community of people isolated under their surgical masks.
Why do they wear them:
. To protect them from chemicals in the air.
. Protection from Pollen and a various other allergies.
. To avoid passing infections on to other people.
. To stop them from contracting any kind of airborne illnesses.

Now this is becoming a trend in Japan and manafacturers have taken it upon themselves to start customising these masks and make them more appealing to the younger generation.. almost a ‘must have’ accessory.
